You will lead a diverse operation that includes à la carte service, outdoor seating, bar operations, and event and meeting facilities. We are currently seeking a kitchen assistent to join our team at Restaurant Bjørk in Bodø, Norway. As a kitchen assistent/Dishwasher, your main responsibility will be to maintain the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen and dishwashing station. This role is essential in ensuring our restaurant operates smoothly and efficiently. Your tasks include: Washing and sanitizing dishes, glassware, utensils, and pots and pans Stocking and organizing clean dishes and kitchen supplies Emptying and cleaning trash and recycling bins Assisting with basic food preparation and plating Keeping the dishwashing area and kitchen clean and organized at all times The work is evenings half week, splitting with our other team player Qualifications: Previous experience in a similar role is preferred Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy items What we are looking for: Reliable and punctual individual with a strong work ethic Positive attitude and willingness to learn Excellent communication and teamwork skills Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Ability to maintain a clean and organized work area
