About Delicatessen
Det hele startet på Grünerløkka i Oslo i 1999. Rodrigo Belda hadde en idé om å feste sine røtter fra det spanske kjøkkenet på norsk jord, og med en god dose hardt arbeid, og ektefølt lidenskap, gjorde han drøm til virkelighet. I dag, over 20 år senere står konseptet fortsatt sterkt, med fire restauranter og en cateringavdeling.
Vår store lidenskap er å gi deg de beste lokale råvarene i kombinasjon med den beste maten og fineste vinen fra Spania. Fisk og sjømat med en frisk Albariño, spekemat med en tørr sherry, et glass tradisjonell Rioja eller en sprudlende Cava. Variasjonene er uendelige.
Som Norges første tapasbar har Delicatessen lang erfaring med å finne de beste råvarene Spania har å tilby. Vi har blant annet introdusert nye spanske smaker; som pimientos de padrón, Iberico-kjøtt og den søte tomaten Kumato for det norske markedet.
Kvalitet er kjernen hos oss, og Rodrigo passer på at vi alltid holder høyeste klasse. Dette, sammen med et engasjert personale og vennlig atmosfære, gjør Delicatessen til en unik opplevelse for alle våre gjester.

Responsibilities and qualifications
As Chef at Delicatessen, you will bring the flavors of Spain to Aker Brygge, be part of a team dedicated to authentic tapas and vibrant Mediterranean cuisine.
You will be in charge of preparing, cooking and plating dishes from our lunch menu, a la carte menu and our set menus.
Some details about what the job requires from you:
Cooperating with the other chefs and maintaining the good quality
Be able to handle stress and (at times) a high workload
Follow our routines regarding HMS, training and quality-control
Prepare ingredients to your mise en place
Keep your station, yourself and your equipment clean
We are a busy restaurant , so efficiency is a must!
You have a Professional Chef Certificate
Some of the qualities we are looking for:
You are enthusiastic, service minded and willing to learn
You (preferably) have experience from Spanish cuisine
You are structured, clean and organized
You are able to work independently as well as being a very good team player
You are able to work both evening and weekend shifts
You are solution oriented – a yes sayer!
